Guinea Hens

Have you ever seen a Guinea hen before? This pair belongs to my Aunt. Notice the male is the colorful one. :) What I like best about them? They eat TICKS!

Egrets in the Neighborhood

Egrets are my favorite bird. I'm always trying to get the perfect picture, but never seem to get one I'm totally happy with. Today we were driving through a neighborhood and saw these in a small neighborhood creek. I had to stop and try to get some pictures. Maybe one day I will get one I'm happy with.
